Business Development Executive (IT) Full-time • On-site
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to join our sales department. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in lead generation and conversion. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing leads while proposing effective technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential leads through online research, networking, and industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to closing deals—with follow-ups via email, calls, virtual and in-person meetings.
- Collect and analyze client requirements and work with BAs, Solution Architects, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Tech teams.
- Prepare project pitches, estimations, proposals, and RFP/RFQ documentation.
- Engage in negotiation and agreement of estimates with clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leads to ensure satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Maintain CRM documentation of all touchpoints (HubSpot preferred).
- Collaborate with internal departments to manage sales workflows, approvals, and project alignment.
- Participate in inbound lead assignment, requirement analysis, and handover to the client experience team.
- Ensure seamless communication between technical teams and clients to set accurate expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in IT consulting or software services.
- Proven record in lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong technical acumen and familiarity with IT development, design, and general IT services.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and in teams.
- Experience in pre-sales, documentation, and negotiation is highly desirable.
- Ability to propose technically sound solutions aligned with client needs and internal capabilities.
