Business Development Executive (IT) Full-time • On-site
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive (IT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development within the resource augmentation / tech staffing industry, a strong technical understanding, and outstanding communication skills. You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing leads, and by proposing effective, technically sound solutions to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential clients in need of resource augmentation and IT/tech staffing services.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle—from lead initiation to deal closure—through emails, calls, virtual and face-to-face meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all lead interactions, pipelines, and activities in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Legal, Finance, Account Management, and Technical to manage sales workflows.
- Participate in inbound lead assignment, project requirement gathering, platform/solution analysis, and smooth handover to the client experience team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set, manage, and align client expectations.
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development within the resource augmentation or tech staffing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in lead generation, nurturing, and conversion in B2B environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical acumen with familiarity in IT staffing, SaaS-based solutions, and staff augmentation models.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand client needs, translate them into requirements, and propose technically sound solutions.
