Sr. Accounts Executive Full-time • Malad, Mumbai
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts professional to join our finance team. The role will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, manage accounts, and support reporting and audits within the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day financial operations; prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets; ensure accuracy of records.
- Accounts Management: Maintain and reconcile accounts payable & receivable; handle invoicing, billing, and collections.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements; stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare regular management reports and ad-hoc financial analyses highlighting key metrics.
- Budgeting: Assist management in annual budgets and monitor budget variances.
- Audit & Taxation: Coordinate with external auditors; assist in preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and timely payments.
- Travel Industry Knowledge: Apply travel-specific accounting practices and monitor industry trends affecting finances.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven accounting experience with at least 4 years in the travel industry.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
